ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT PILOT PROGRAMME

From CamisasLokas we want to make it easier for you, our customer, to understand the environmental impact generated by each shirt you buy. With this information, you will be able to better understand what environmental impact the product you have purchased has generated.

WHAT IS ENVIRONMENTAL RATING?

Environmental rating takes into account various environmental impact variables throughout the life cycle of a shirt. O The life cycle measures the environmental impact of the product from the raw materials that make it up to its disposal after use, through the entire manufacturing process. A is the maximum score.

HOW IS THE LEVEL GIVEN TO A PRODUCT DECIDED?

Ratings are calculated using a methodology developed by industry experts, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition and other stakeholders using data collected throughout the product's life cycle.

Ratings from A to E are determined by these factors:

- Climate change and chemical impact

- Air pollution, including CFCs, smog and effects on the ozone layer

- Water and soil pollution in the production process

Although not exhaustive, this calculation includes the main environmental impacts that the products analysed may generate. This experiment is not definitive and the ratings have not been verified by the European Union.
